[Photo|Daniel De Bryne]PNU party leader and immediate Meru County Governor Peter Munya, has already hit the ground, barely a week after he officially joined the National Super Alliance (Nasa).Munya kicked off pro-Nasa campaigns in the Mt Kenya region county, asking residents to vote for presidential candidate Raila Odinga, come October 17, during fresh presidential election.Munya whose party was allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, in the August 8 elections, campaigned for the Opposition at Mailu Tatu, amongst other areas, where he made roadside stopovers to address residents."Vote for Nasa in October presidential election. I joined Nasa after seeing that they have same agenda as mine. The others are not ready to server the people, they stole the election. Let's make Raila Odinga the president," he urged residents, Friday.Munya was welcomed to Nasa, by the four principals, after he lost his seat to Kiraitu Murungi of Jubilee Party in August.He however moved to court to petition Murungi's election, saying the election was rigged.Murungi has since dismissed Munya's entrance to Nasa, saying it has no impact in Meru and the larger Mt Kenya region, where Jubilee enjoys massive support.
