Former Machakos Senator Johson Muthama has condemned the arrest of NASA strategist David Ndii who is also the chairman of the committee in charge of the People's Assembly.Muthama says that Ndii's Sunday arrest by detectives is an act of cowardice by Jubilee government.In a press briefing with journalists in Nairobi on Monday, Muthama said that NASA will not fall to alleged president  Uhuru Kenyatta's  intimidation.He said that the push for people's assembly and Raila's planned swearing-in is unstoppable."Jubilee government will be in shock if it thinks that it will intimidate and scare us," he said.Muthama said that Ndii did nothing wrong to warrant police arrest.The former Machakos senator said that Uhuru's government is afraid of the people's assembly and wants to scuttle the plan."Kenyans are yearning for change and Jubilee government should know that and be ready to cooperate because the people's power is unstoppable," he added.Muthama asked NASA supporters to remain firm and fight against Jubilee intimidation tactics.Ndii was allegedly arrested by detectives on Sunday night at Leopards Beach in Diani.The opposition has condemned his arrest and is demanding for his immediate release.Ndii was appointed last week as chairperson of a seven-member committee to spearhead the creation of  NASA's people's assembly.
