[Photo|MN]Former East Kamagambo MCA Joshua Ong'oma spent Wednesday night at Migori police station after being arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Department.The former lawmaker is accused of soliciting a bribe from a teacher, in exchange of a county job.It is believed that Moses Ochieng, a teacher at Kanga Mixed paid him close to Sh600,000 to get an appointment letter as Director of Finance at the Governor Okoth Obado's administration.The teacher later turned up at Governor Obado's offices to pick his purported employment letter, a move that alerted the staff who later called the police.At the police station, Ong'oma was asked to pay Sh50,000 cash police bail but failed to do so, a move that saw him locked up.
