Last week, Nyamira High Court dismissed a petition challenging election of Bosire's challenger and eventual winner Shadrack Mose for lack of sufficient evidence.

And the ODM Treasurer was quick to point an accusing finger to Matiang'i, who he blames of interfering with electoral process through bribery.

"It is really funny that the CS can go around celebrating  my loss yet he knows well that it was engineered by himself.

"It is in public domain that he was bribing voters throughout the campaign in favour of my competitor. He should desist from meddling in local politics," he said.

For weeks now, politicians from both Jubilee and NASA have been spreading the war against the super minister who they term as an outsider.

During the August polls, Bosire garnered 19,800 votes to Mose's 33,000. It is not yet clear whether he will appeal the ruling.
