Speaking at Magongo grounds during the burial of the Nyamira County Assembly Speaker Joash Nyamoko's brother, Ombui said his track record speaks for itself, adding that the people of North Mugirango have realised the need to elect a visionary leader.

“I want to make it clear to our people that I have not quit the race of becoming the area MP. I'm still in the race and the people of North Mugirango still enjoy the projects I initiated,,” Ombui said

“Our people were misled and misinformed and voted along party lines and now they are suffering. Let us always be people who think critically before were elect leaders,“ Ombui noted.

“Let us not be misled this time round with party or money politics but let us vote for visionary leaders,” Ombui added.

He urged county residents to institute Ekerubo Giethai Institute by enrolling more students saying education is the key to fighting poverty in the constituency.
