Speaking at Suneka market on Tuesday the former lawmaker said that Kenyans should expect nothing from the current government.

"The money that is being stolen can be used in doing other things but now only a few people are gaining from it," he said.

The politician said that Kenyans who ignored opposition leader Raila Odinga when he asked them not to reelect President Kenyatta were now regretting.

"Kenyans should give Raila a break because they ignored him when he warned them against electing the two leaders. Raila could have saved this country if Kenyans agreed to vote for him but for now corruption is with us and will not end anytime soon," he added.

He suggested that the funds being stolen by few individuals should be paid to doctors.

Kebati served as Bonchari MP for two terms between 1992-2002.
