Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga has declared his bid for the Laikipia Senator seat.

He announced he will seek Jubilee ticket, saying the ruling party is well placed to address the needs of the people.

“I am ready to work with the Jubilee government to ensure it is re-elected,” Njenga was quoted by a local paper.

Njenga formed a political party known as Mkenya Solidarity Movement the 2013 general elections.
