[Photo| Courtesy]Turkana senator John Munyes has criticised the National Super Alliance (Nasa), after he defected from one of its affiliate parties, Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya.Munyes joined hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, which he seeks to use in his quest to unseat governor Josphat Nanok, a staunch ODM (Nasa) supporter, in August election.During Monday's Jubilee campaign tour of the county, the Jubilee gubernatorial aspirant said he defected from Ford Kenya as its national chairman because of what Jubilee administration had done for the people of Turkana. “I left Ford Kenya as their national chairman after seeing the transformational agenda of the Jubilee government and the projects implemented here in Turkana," he said."For the first time we have witnessed major roads construction, electricity connections and improved health services under President Kenyatta’s government,” said Munyes. Also present during the rally was Senate Speaker Ekwe Ethuro, who said Turkana residents would overwhelmingly vote for Jubilee because of their development agenda. “Last time we were on the opposite side with Munyes, today we are working together as a team, I'm very sure we will deliver 100 per cent of the votes of this region,” said Ethuro. Other speakers included Jubilee aspirants Geoffrey Kaituko (senator) and Joyce Emanikore (Woman Representative) among others.
