Humility and compassion eclipsed commissioning of Magura Secondary in Borabu, a function which First Lady Margaret Kenyatta had attended on Thursday.
The institution was built by Zarina and Naushad Foundation in collaboration with Sasini Limited Company.
And when time for serving meals came, Mrs. Kenyatta personally took the responsibility and was seen serving students and other guests in the occassion.
Throughout the time, the Country's most powerful woman would at times wash hands of guests and even wipe them with towel as she served the meal.
Hundreds of residents were left tongue wagging as Mrs. Kenyatta performed the rare duties in which she occasionally stopped to interact with locals.
At the event, Mrs. Kenyatta seized the opportunity to preach peace and tranquility adding that all Kenyans should embrace the spirit of brotherhood.
She was accompanied by area Women Representative Jerusha Momanyi and local MP Ben Momanyi.
