A bitter rivalry between Jubilee and ODM bigwigs will culminate on Wednesday when Justice James Makau makes vital ruling on Nyamira gubernatorial elections.
Filed by Jubilee's Walter Nyamira, the case has attracted national leadership with both Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta openly speaking about it.
"I am very happy that Nyamira voted for me and this is an indication that Jubilee is dominant,' Uhuru said last year at Nakuru State Lounge.
Governor John Nyagarama (ODM), openly rebuked Uhuru for allegedly meddling with the case, in an election that was closely contested with the margin between the two being 6500.
And at Nakuru, a visibly concerned Uhuru maintained that he was closely monitoring the case adding that he is sure of Jubilee victory.
"I am monitoring the case and I am sure we beat them. The outcome will certainly favour us," he told excited Jubilee supporters in October.
Prior to the Wednesday's rulling, Makau had ordered scrutiny and vote recount in 90 polling stations across the county.
But Nyagarama's recent close relationship could work to his advantage it at all State House has a hand in the final judgment.
