Eldoret lawyer who moved to court to seek stoppage of ex-nominated MP Mark Too’s burial now wants his body exhumed.
Simon Lilan says Too’s body should be exhumed and a specimen extracted for forensic examination.
The lawyer, who had gone missing for nine days resurfaced two days ago.
He said he sought asylum in foreign embassies because his life was in danger.
He said he will move to court to seek an order to have the former politician’s body exhumed.
“I will stop at nothing until the actual cause of death of my friend is established. This does not mean that I was opposed to his burial,” he said during a press conference in Eldoret, Monday.
Too died on December 31, 2016 at St Luke’s Hospital in Eldoret Town.
Hospital doctors said he died of cardiac arrest.
But Lilan claims Too was killed because of his wealth.
