Nyamira Senator Okong'o Mong'are has challenged members of Parliament from the county to explain to their electorate how they have spent the CDF monies.
Addressing journalists at Sirong'a on Saturday, Mong'are said there was need for the elected MPs to state how they have spent monies allocated for development.
"I am appealing to members of Parliament from Nyamira County to show how they have spent the five per cent monies allocated to them through the CDF kitty for the last three years, and they must provide such information to their electorate," said Mong'are.
He further urged youths from the four constituencies in the county to visit constituency CDF offices to inquire on how the monies meant for development have been spent.
"Visit various constituency offices and ask how the CDF kitty for the last three years has been spent. Ensure you are given in a document form and not by word of mouth," added Mong'are.
