Kwale governor hopeful Chirau Ali Makwere has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to expose him.

Makwere said he has nothing to fear or worry about, adding that Uhuru and Jubilee can go ahead and expose him as they wish.

In an interview with The Standard, Makwere said that he will not be intimidated by Jubilee threats.

“Uhuru and his people can go on and expose me because I have nothing to fear,” said Mwakwere, as quoted by the Standard.

The Kwale governor hopeful accused UhuRuto of harbouring negative feelings against him after he ditched Jubilee.

“The main reason why Jubilee is angry with me is because I ditched their camp and joined the opposition,” he said.

Mwakwere said he will not fall for Jubilee’s dirty politics, adding that his bid for the Kwale governor seat is unstoppable.

He claimed that Jubilee is looking for ways to block him from contesting in the August elections.

Mwakwere urged his supporters to ignore Jubilee’s threats and remain firm ahead of the August 8 polls.

He also warned his rival Salim Mvurya against malicious campaigns, adding that he should brace for a resounding defeat.

On Wednesday President Uhuru Kenyatta threatened to expose Mwakwere.

He said it was Mwakwere and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who signed away mining rights without considering the welfare of the people of Kwale.
