Speaking on Sunday afternoon during a fundraiser ceremony at St Christopher parish in Makutano Ma Chumbi, Athi River, Sakwa stated residents reports are critical for work efficiency.

"The main problem both in our County and a Country at large is we see officers who are not doing their work and just keep silent about it until the situation worsens then we complain," said Matilda.

The Machakos police boss encouraged the people to be County workers own watchdogs and report to the authority on time.

"Let's provide information as soon as we observe both officers not doing their work and also recognize the hardworking ones so that they are promoted," she added.

During the event, president Uhuru Kenyatta was expected to be the guest of honor but wasn't able to attend though gave Sh500,000 shillings towards the church fundraising ceremony.
