ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire has accused Deputy President William Ruto of lying to the public by launching projects which government has never played part in.
On Friday, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose hinted of Ruto's planned visit on Monday where he is expected to launch multi-million Nyangori water project among others.
"We are expecting the DP on Monday and he shall commission Nyangori water project. He will also launch Kemera-Amabuko road," he said.
In 2016, President Uhuru Kenyatta and the DP cancelled the tour to the project after intelligence briefings on possible chaos.
But the former Kitutu Masaba MP has accused Ruto of trying to take credit on projects which he doesn't deserve.
"I am informed Ruto will be commissioning Nyangori. I hear that he claims that the government played a big role in the project. Those are lies which can't help.
"The project was funded by ADB bank and that is a fact. He should stop lying to the people. Let him come with new projects and stop campaigning," said Bosire.
He also accused the DP of planning to relaunch Kemera-Amabuko road which he insists that the government frustrated when he was MP.
"The Kemera-Amabuko road was launched long time ago and we have a contractor. It is hypocrisy to relaunch it again," he said.
