The serial conman who has been milking resources cunningly from MPs was once lover to ex-Bomet Women Representative Cecily Ng'etich, multiple investigations reveal.
Kenya's top detective George Kinoti, early this week, linked Benson Chacha to Murang'a Women Representative, Sabina Chege, who has since denied having special relationship with him.
"If my name was mentioned, they should have sought to prove and contact the DCI for clarification,'" protested Ms Chege, the whisle blower.
She further said: "This man is a known criminal and that is what I have been saying. Then the media picked the story, then said I know him."
But in February, the Nairobian released photos of Chacha, talking selfies in bed with Ms Ng'etich, who lost in Jubilee primaries and the two are said to have parted ways during Valentines.
Similar photos of the alleged conman were released by the police, with efforts to arrest him proving futile since all his contacts remained switched off.
Claims that he had solicited money from MPs using phone number registered in Ms Chege's name dominated parliament with a host of legislators admitting to have fallen prey.
