Estranged Kenyan businessman Don Bosco Gichana may have his freedom secured soon if secret mission launched by Raila Odinga succeeds, a source has dsclosed.
In an interesting twist of events on Tuesday, nominated senator Millicent Omanga reported Bosco's release, but sources indicate that he remains still in Arusha jail.
"I want to thank God for Governor Mike Sonko and EALA MP Simon Mbugua for securing Bosco's release," she wrote, despite investigations showing contrary.
Multiple sources within Raila's office claim that Raila had formed a team of youths who have been reporting about Bosco's situation while he directly works with Presidnet John Pombe to have the embattled businessman released.
The team, which has been regularly visiting Bosco in Arusha, is under top aides of Raila, who are working directly with renowned blogger, Kabz Nyar Kisii, whose real name is Olivia.
"I am currently in Arusha and I want to categorically say that Bosco is still in jail. Ignore the rumours being spread by busybodies," she wrote on her Facebook.
Last week, Kabz confirmed ongoing talks within high levels between Raila and Tanzanian authorities aimed at securing Bosco's release.
For the last five years, the successful businessman cum politician, has been under detention for alleged money laundering and fraud.
