The self proclaimed NRM General is languishing in Dubai following the government's decision to deport him on Wednesday.

Multiple sources within Orange House say Raila had personally asked Miguna to surrender his passport for stamping on Monday, a request which the latter declined.

" It is a routine that the passport you use at the port of entry must be used at the exit," said one source,  adding that Raila was not amused.

Yet again, another source,  who spoke in confidence, said Miguna refused to handover his Canadian passport for stamping to Raila.

"Initially,  he feared that authorities would confiscate it but Raila offered to help only for Miguna to decline."

The former Prime Minister is said to have secretly jetted out to Tanzania on Thursday, moments after attending Miguna's case.

On social media,  ODM supporters have continued to link him to Miguna's woes.
