The user,  who identified himself as Geoffrey Chaillah, offered to teach the governor how to make between Sh20,000 to Sh 40,000 per week as he fights for political survival.

Chaillah encouraged the governor to join his networking group, Aim Global so as to make millions of shillings after vacating power if he loses the case at the Supreme Court.

"Hello Dr Alfred Mutua. I heard the Court of Appeal today morning rendered you jobless. Do you want to make 20k to 40k per week using your phone? Ask me how. #AimGlobal," Chaillah wrote.

The funny post attracted the attention of Facebook users most of who have in turn shared it on various different platforms.

The news comes barely since Members of the Machakos County Assembly tabled a motion seeking to remove the Mutua from office.

Mutua has since said he will not leave office until the Supreme Court determines his case.

Mutua's lawyer, Wilfred Nyamu, termed the case premature.

"The current situation is that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has not even been served with the order of the court. For the assembly to discuss this issue, it is tantamount to occasioning a coup," Nyamu noted.
