Suicide note that has lately gone viral on social media has caused a heated debate.
A middle-aged man who has been identified as Gerald Mwangi took on his Facebook wall where he penned the sorrowful message.
On 20th June at exactly 8.43 PM , a little known Gerald Mwangi Ngima from Nyahururu, Ngano Village took to his Facebook timeline and made the world know he was ready to die. He even went ahead to invite all who knew him for his burial should his body be ever found.
"I think my time on this world is over. I have been through enough but am done. For those who Knows me well msikose kukam kunisika iwapo mwili wangu utapatikana. Niliwapenda nyoote lakini mungu akanipenda sana. R.I.P GERALD MWANGI NGIMA.( if you know me don't fail to attend my burial incase my body is found.I loved you but God me most)" he posted on Facebook.
It has also emerged that the slain photographer was active on Facebook for close to 5 hours, maybe reading the responses from his “friends”.Mwangi received backlash upon disclosing his intention him with some of his friends even volunteering to foot his burial expenses.
Mwangi appeared happy with himself, and with life. But perhaps the smile covered deep issues that eventually brought him to the edge.
