A 'fake' doctor who hit the news headlines in the past will spend some more time in remand after the person who stood as a surety for his bond withdrew the surety from court.

Reports indicate that Mugo wa Wairimu's guarantor John Ngugi withdrew his document in what he said was an effort to use it in taking a loan towards paying his children's school fees. 

After the withdrawal, Milimani law court  magistrate Daniel Ogembo said that Wairimu will now need to look for an alternative to get released on bond again.

He is facing charges of running a clinic without a valid permission and raping patients who seek medical treatment at his clinic.
