A middle-aged man who was pretending to be a worker at Nakuru Level 5 hospital was on Monday evening arrested after he asked Sh500 bribe from a student to process his medical report.
According to the student, the suspect gave him a filled form which was found to be fake.
“I realized the medical report I was given was fake because it didn’t have a signature and the hospital stamp. I reported the matter which was acted on immediately. Upon questioning him, he accepted that he is not a worker at the hospital,” said Kamau.
A police officer who declined to be named said the suspect is currently being held at Nakuru central police station and will be arraigned in court.
“The suspect is in custody and will be arraigned in court before Friday,” said the officer.
