A middle-aged man was on Wednesday arrested by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission officers in Nakuru for allegedly defrauding those who want to join Kenya army after posing as a KDF officer.
The suspect identified as Michael Koskei was arrested while collecting money from desperate military hopefuls.
The suspect had collected 150,000 shillings at the time of arrest.
"The suspect was receiving money from the public purporting to facilitate KDF recruitment. However, a section of victims informed EACC officers who laid a trap and arrested him," EACC said.
