Kenya Women Premier League side Eldoret Falcon is hopeful of a win when they face hosts Bulemia at the Busia Polytechnic grounds on Saturday.
Falcons started off their title hunt with a walkover against Vihiga Stars, who failed to show up for the opening match at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium last Saturday.
Coach Joshua Ariko remained optimistic that the team will strike their first victory, on the pitch.
“The team is happy that we are starting the league on a positive note,"said Ariko, adding that the team has been bolstered by the arrival of new players and their target is to finish at the top of the Zone B standings.
In the last season, the team failed to shine due to financial constraints, something they look forward to overcoming.
