A NASA affiliated MP has regretted that Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko will not fulfill the campaign promises he made to the people of Nairobi.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi said Nairobians elected Sonko because of his childish styles of celebrity which gave him fame.
“The people of Nairobi should expect nothing from the Jubilee party elected Governor who won the elections because of fame. His poor styles of leadership will cost him in delivering services to boost the lives of the people of Nairobi,” he said.
The MP was reacting to Sonko’s claims that the MP’s Law firm has been allowing cartels to swindle funds from City Hall.
The lawmaker said his law firm should not be dragged to Sonko’s failures.
“I will not have any objection after Sonko suspended my law firm lawyers from representing City Hall but I wish to urge Sonko to mind his language and stop tarnishing the name of my law firm. We all know Sonko is a failure who is trying to use orthodox means to resign from his position because he has realized he can’t deliver to meet the needs and satisfaction of the people of Nairobi who were dumped to vote a failure,” he added.
