A man’s skeleton was discovered in a house ceiling accidentally when one of the occupants went to check a water tank.
The family in Nyayo estate found the human skeleton believed to be that of their son who went missing more than two years ago.
Peter Njagi Munyi, 22, went missing in August 2014 and had not been traced since then.
Lucy Kina Munyi, the man’s mother, said her nephew Nicassio Mbogo went to the ceiling to check the water tank when he saw a pair of shoes and on a closer look saw a human skeleton.
The family informed the police who visited the scene, according to the Nation.
After photographing the remains, they were taken to Chiromo mortuary for identification and investigations to establish the cause of death.
