A family from Nyamesare village, Nyangoso in Kisii County is in agony after their daughter went missing mysteriously.
Abel Onduso, the father of the girl said his daughter who was in class 3 went missing on Tuesday and her whereabouts remains unknown.
“We have been having sleepless nights since my daughter, Edinah, went missing on Tuesday. She left for school in the morning but she didn’t return home later in the evening,” he said.
He said that the minor had never missed returning home from school.
“She was wearing a yellow T-shirt, blue sweater, and grey skirt when she left home on Tuesday. Efforts to trace her have not given fruits. We are calling on members of the public with information about the girl to report to the nearest police station,” he said.
He said the family has recorded a statement at Nyangoso police post.Nyangoso police boss identified as James said police officers are searching for the minor. He challenged the public to help police officers in tracing the daughter to ensure she is reunited with her family.
