A family in Murang’a County is in agony, after the disappearance of their son a week ago.
The family of Eric Kamau, 15, is a worried lot, after the boy, who was to join form three this year went missing on January 3rd.
The Weithaga School student is said to have left for a call, and has never been seen since then.
“We did not quarrel, or have any disagreement the whole day, but tin the evening he said he wanted to visit the washroom, and that tis how he left,” says Ruth Njeri, the mother when he spoke to the media.
Kamau is described as a quiet boy, and the family remains worried as they hope he could walk through the door safe and sound.
“We are asking if anyone has seen him, to just tell him to com back home, we miss him,” she added.
The family then later realized that the boy had left with an extra t-shirt and a trouser. They reported his disappearance at the Kigumo police station, but nothing has given so far.
The father says they had everything planned for him to return to school, and are now appealing the public to help them locate their son.
