A family at Pipeline Estate has been spending sleepless nights following disappearance of one of their own.
The family of Catherine Njeri has unsuccessfully, from September 4, 2014, been looking for their 13-year- old Judy Wanjiku.
Allegedly, Wanjiku disappeared after she left home for school, St Joseph Magulata Boarding school in Nanyuki, but she did not arrive at the school.
According to her mother, the pupil boarded a 4NTEK Sacco matatu which dropped her near the school only for her to disappear in unclear circumstances.
'I got the information of my daughter’s disappearance by the school management two weeks after schools opened. This is when they wanted to inquire why she had not reported and I was shocked knowing that she was not at home either,'' said her mother.
The mother says that so far no one has called the family regarding the girl and the family is calling on anyone who might have any information regarding the girl to report at the nearest police station.
The matter has been reported at the Nakuru Central police station and Nanyuki Divisional police Headquarters.
