A family in Bungoma is mourning after a woman they entrusted with taking care of their baby boy killed the minor before disappearing.
The father of the bay boy, William Isigi, took to social media to report the incident he described as inhuman adding that the gap left by the death of his son will never be filled.
"We are mourning the death of baby Gabriel who died in the hands of this house help (pictured below). The woman disappeared with her belongings to the unknown location," Isigi said in a Facebook post.
He said the national Identity Card belonging to the househelp is missing implying she picked it from his master bedroom where he had hidden it before leaving.
Photos of the househelp have been published on social media and Isigi is pleading to Kenyans and authorities to help track the unidentified lady by directly calling him or reporting the matter to any police station.
"The woman has a black mark on the right side of the nose and she comes from Kakamega. Burial of baby Gabriel will be next week Saturday," he said.
"We humbly request members of the public to watch out and help arrest this woman. You never know where she will strike again tomorrow.
In his post, he did not, however, identify the woman by name. He also did not indicate which police station he has reported the matter to if indeed he has reported it.
He said anyone with a clue on the whereabouts of the woman can call 0786881289 or 0706295992.
