Dalmas Ong'ele, the father to Newton Ochieng' Ong'ele alias Babior, is still looking for his son.

Babior is the author of 'The Raila Conspiracy',  a controversial book  about Nasa presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, which was to be launched last week.

He went missing June 27, the day he was scheduled to officially launch his book at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) amphitheater, in Nairobi.

Odinga, publishing editor political analyst Barrack Muluka, University of Nairobi don who is also a political analyst Herman Manyora, and Kenya School of Law CEO PLO Lumumba, were to attend the launch of the book. His disappearance was recorded under OB number 18/3/7/17 at Ruaraka police station, Monday.

About three weeks ago, the author told the media that there was a conspiracy by some government forces to block the sale of the book in Kenya before August 8.

“The police should help us locate his whereabouts as first as possible. He usually makes calls to us frequently and we are suspicious over his continued silence since June 25. His mobile phone has also been off since that date,” Ong’ele told Daily Nation.

Speaking at his Kaila home in Seme Sub-county in Kisumu County, Babior's disappearance could be because of the content of the book

The father also urged Raila to help in unraveling the disappearance of Babior.

Commenting on the issue during an interview on Radio Maisha, Raila the police had a responsibility to trace him and tell the public the truth on the matter.

Seen by the daily, 'The Raila Conspiracy' warns that statements made earlier by ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru that Al-Shabaab can interfere with the digital system of general elections were a disclosure that there were plans to rig the August 8 general election.

It also alleges that the 2002 general election, in which the then President Mwai Kibaki was contesting against Uhuru Kenyatta, who is now President, was the only free and fair election ever held in Kenya.

The book also talks about Kenya's elections since former President Daniel Moi's regime.
