A family in Naivasha is seeking help to enable the burial of five relatives killed in a grisly road accident along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway over the weekend.
The family says it cannot shoulder the burial of the five kin because of a souring hospital bill of the father currently admitted at the Kijabe Mission Hospital after the accident that ocurred in Kimende.
The family had travelled to Kiambi to help secure the life of a minor who has been sick with the objective of securing better medical attention in Naivasha when the accident happened.
The accident happened when a Nissan 14-seater matatu which was trying to overtake another vehicle rammed into a personal car carrying the family members killing the five instantly including the sick minor.
The wife of the man hospitalised in Kijabe is among those who perished.
Also in the death list were his sister, two cousins and the minor. They were headed back to their home in Maraigushu village in Naivasha after visiting Githunguri in Kiambu.
following the incident family members of friends of the family are now calling on the government as well as well-wishers to help raise money to offset the hospital bill as well as cater for burial expenses.
The daughter to the man hospitalised, Elizabeth Nyambura said the incident has left them traumatized.
