They are successful and living their best lives. Men find them intimidating, probably too out there for their own good. Some have been involved in scandals but regardless of what people say these Kenyan female politicians are single and happy.
How do we know they are happy? Well because they have money, their families and they actually left the men who perhaps made them unhappy because they had the courage to walk away.
1. Ann Waiguru
She might be unpopular to many but as the Kirinyaga Governor, I must admit she is making serious money moves. With all the money she has, she literally has enough money to feed the whole of Kenya and of course many generations to come. Anne divorced her husband Tony Waiguru Njuguna about a long time ago and she is now living as a single parent.
2. Margaret Wanjiru
The founder of Jesus Is Alive Ministries church is not your ordinary every day bishop. She has gotten herself in politics and it is quite evident that she has a fearless personality due to the fact she managed to divorce her late husband even if she is a pastor. She almost married a South African man but the wedding didn’t materialize.
3. Martha Karua
The woman of steel is the one we know not to mess with. I don’t think many men would even be able to handle a woman like her unless he is super secure as a person. Martha has been single for a very long time after her divorce and she seems to have enough time to aspire for big things like the presidency.
4. Millie Odhiambo
She was married to a Zimbabwean but unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last but she seems to be happy with her life as she keeps being outspoken in the political scene.
5. Martha Wangari
The Gilgil MP admitted that her husband was physically abusive and promiscuous which led to her divorcing him. Some may say nasty things about these women but the reality is they walked away from circumstances that didn’t make them happy.
As they put effort into their careers they seem to be blossoming which just proves that it is possible to be successful, single and happy at the same time.
