Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim has urged the police to launch investigations that would help unravel the criminals who killed at least five people in Nairobi's Ruaraka area on Sunday morning.Speaking during an interview with NTV's AM live show, the former national assembly deputy speaker condemned the killings saying they are coming at a time when the country is going through turbulent times.Farah also wondered why the police have been so quick to dismiss any possible links to terror gangs whom the locals have since linked to the gruesome killings."The police must swing into action and find out whoever is behind these killings. We cannot go on like this as a country.Where are the sources of the guns allegefly used to commit these atrocities? The killings are sad and coming at the most unfortunate time for our country," he said.

Deputy president William Ruto also called for a probe into the crime saying Nairobi belongs to all Kenyans.
