Former Garissa Township parliamentary aspirant Farah Maalim has slammed Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i after he attacked some of the Judiciary officers on Tuesday

Matiang'i accused some of the judges of colluding with some politicians and members of the civil society to frustaret the governmnet by issuing court orders and injuctions.

The CS was citing the case of NASA coalition activist Miguna Miguna, following his recent standoff with the government.

Appearing before the Parliamentary Committee on National Security to respond to their queries surrounding the Miguna Miguna issue, Matiang'i slammed the recent court case where he alongside IG Joseph Boinnet and Immigration Director Gordon Kihalangwa were convicted and charged for contempt of court and fined Sh200,000 each by High Court Judge, Justice George Odunga following applications by Miguna's lawyers.

Matiang'i warned that the government would name and shame judiciary officers who colluding to frustrate the government.

Maalim commented on the matter saying: "It disgusts one to the bones to watch the executive tearing into the judiciary with such lackadaisical mediocrity. The former National Assembly deputy speaker wondered who was advising the Executive arm of government.
