While responding to questions by Kuresoi South residents, Richard Tuei and Elijah Rugutt during the ongoing Outreach Programme, Mbugua added that Sh1.5 million has been allocated for the rehabilitation, during  financial year 2015-16.

The entire county government transferred its operations to the sub-county level in a programme meant to bring the government’s services closer to the people and interact with them.

Governor Mbugua and his deputy Joseph Rutto noted that rehabilitation of the road will help connect many farmers in the ward to markets.

“This is one of the most richest  areas in terms of agriculture and therefore we have noted the need to construct this road, and give all farmers an easy time during transportation of those products,’ said the governor.

Roads department chief officer, Eng Samuel Mwaura confirmed  that the work will start with immediate effect.

Tendering has been done.
