A 23-year old man was last week injured by his father over gambling, which allegedly saw him lose Sh1,000.
John Kimani from Kihingo village, Rabai ward said that he had earlier in the morning sent his son to go for shopping, and on the way, he gambled using the money and lost everything.
“After waiting for long, I was worried what had happened to him. Tracing him, I found him in a casino sitting, having gambled with all the money,” said Kimani.
The father of nine, who do menial jobs to get money said that he was angered by his son and he decided to punish him severely.
“I have been warning him against irresponsible gambling but he is reluctant to leave gambling,” added the father.
The son was taken to the nearest Ngeteti Community Health Dispensary top receive treatment over fathers injuries.
