Irate Nyamira villagers have lynched a father of two for hacking to death his two daughters following a domestic row with his wife.
Nyangoso villagers in West Mugirango constituency were moved into the mob psychology by the butchering of the two children, aged four and two by the rogue father who had allegedly raped the youngest before chopping their throats with a machete.
The man had differed with his wife prompting her to run away to her parents home but the husband managed to re-claim his children.
Before committing the heinous act the man was said to have called the wife on the phone and demanded that she comes back.
Many villagers condemned the act terming it a cowardly solution to a domestic row.
Nyamira police have taken the bodies to Nyamira level 5 hospital mortuary.
