Mr Chacha rewarded Harriet Chacha with a Mercedes Benz E 200 after scoring a mean grade of B plain in the exam whose results were released by Education CS Fred Matiang'i on Thursday.

Ms Chacha sat her secondary school exams at Mary Hill Secondary School in Thika.

While giving the present, the former reporter and current Director of Communications and Public Relations of the Mombasa County said he had made the promise to his daughter a few months to the exam as motivation for better performance in the KCSE examinations.

“Today I am very happy, it was a promise I gave to my daughter Harriet just to boost her morals and I am glad she was able to meet the promise, and today the car is hers,” Mr Chacha told Nairobi News.

Ms Harriet said she aspires to study Medicine and become a doctor although the decision is still not yet final.
