A man in Eldoret has taken his son to court for allegedly engaging in an unnatural act with a family sheep.
The complainant, Sang Kibii told the court that he had forgiven his son but the fact that he repeated the act necessitated him to take him to court.
The accused William Kipchirchir Kibii appeared before Eldoret Principal Magistrate Charles Obulutsa but contradicted himself when he denied the charges but again admitted that he had only engaged in the sexual act with the sheep once and not twice as claimed by his father.
According to the accused father, the son last engaged in bestiality on April 13 in Chepkanga village in the outskirts of Eldoret town.
Attempts by the Magistrate to convince the complainant to settle the matter at home fell on deaf ears as the father insisted that his son is punished for the act.
Sang, the father, insisted that Kipchirchir, his son must be jailed to act as a lesson so that he does not repeat the offense.
"He has done it more than once, I want the court to punish him so that he learns a lesson," Sang told the court.
The suspect was freed on a Sh10,000 cash bail. Hearing for the case was set for April 25.
