Faulu bank Ngong road branch lost over half a million after robbers raided the facility in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to police, the robbers made away with Sh580, 000 in the 2 am incident.

The suspects gained access into the building by breaking one of the windows and made away with cash that was in one of the counters.

“The money had not been kept in the vault as it should have been,” read a police statement.

The incident was discovered this morning as a new security team was taking over for the day.

Two nights guards are currently in custody assisting with investigations.
