FC Shells Manager Martin Muithya has exuded confidence ahead of the FKF South Coast Branch mini-league.Speaking after emerging second position on the Zone C table, Muithya said the mood in the camp is upbeat and they are expecting nothing less than the league title. Muithya attributed the club's success to teamwork.“We started the league poorly due to lack of cohesion in the team but our performance improved with every game during the second leg matches because of teamwork. I assure you that FC Shells will be a team to beat in the mini-league come rain come sunshine,” said Muithya.The Likoni based-club rose from the relegation zone during the first leg to finish at the second top position at the group stage on the Zone C table standing with 32 points from 18 matches and earning a ticket to the mini league.FC Shells have a heavy investment in lethal striker Lennox Mwario who has a knack for scoring goals.Mwario is currently the joint-leading scorer with Anwar Abdulhakim of Congo Boys with a total of 14 goals.Mwaro started featuring as a fullback during the first leg and in the second leg, he swapped positions with striker Steve Biko.“After noticing the sublime skills of Mwaro, we decided to give him the role of a striker during the second leg and he delivered.
