A team working round the clock to ensure opposition leader Raila Odinga is sworn-in as president has bemoaned state intimidation.
Experts who are members of the NASA steering committee have been tasked with the arduous task of coming up with anti-Jubilee strategies.
The swearing in of Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka is said to have dominated a meeting at the Okoa Kenya offices in Lavington.
“There is a legitimate fear within the committee that picking one to chair it will invite ridicule and unnecessary attacks from the State, which would derail our work,” the source told the Daily Nation.
The NASA CEO has been uncharacteristically tight-lipped on the state of play with regard to Odinga's swearing-in, perhaps an indication of the fear that is being contended with.
Opposition leader broke his silence on the swearing-in claims during an address to his supporters at Mayanja Road after Uhuru had been inaugurated, confirming that he would take the oath of office on December 12.
