All is not well to a section of students at the Kibabi University in Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma county after hate leaflets were circulated in the area one week after a student died mysteriously.
The leaflets that were circulated from Monday, have specific instructions to students from Rift Valley and Central regions urging them to vacate the institution or await possible attacks.
They accused the students from the communities of being behind the death of Paul Bichangi third year bachelors of education student.
However, student leader from the institution has condemed the circulation of the leaflets terming it uncivilised.
"We would like to call those who are spreading these leaflets to stop or face the dire consequences of breaking the law," he said.
"We are calling upon the county commissioner Joshua Chepchie’ng to move with speed and have police arrest those behind this papers as quick as possible," he added.
Police are still investigating what caused the death of the 22 years old student from Harambee area in Matungu constituency Kakamega County.
