An all-fame gang has emerged in Mombasa, with some residents already suffering from their attacks.
The gang operates just like the famous 'Wakali Kwanza and Wakali wao', by attacking their targets with knives and machetes. They then take the target's belongings including clothes and disappear.
"I was coming from a church service when around 12 women armed with knives surrounded me and demanded money. Perhaps because one of them was familiar, they beat me up and let me go after I surrendered all the money I had,” said a pastor.
The pastor claimed to have been attacked at around 10:00pm at Frere Town last week.
According to the victims, including a woman whom the gang undressed before taking her belongings, the all-female gang isbased in Bombolulu, Kisauni constituency.
They call themselves 'Wakware Babies'.
