The earth sunk swallowing crops and houses.According to a resident who spoke to this writer on phone said the fault line is ‘very big and kilometers long’.

Photos sent to this writer shows that farms and homes were affect by the fissure.

“We have been told to move to safer grounds. We however do not know where to go because we have not been given any support by the authorities,” John Kimani said.
