Police in Kitengela on Tuesday discovered the dead body of a man found dumped on the roadside with dismembered body parts.

The body of the 27-year-old was found with missing limbs and with the skull crushed.

Police also said that there were injuries on the hips and that the right hand was fractured but that there were no bloodstains.

"He seemed to have been tortured and killed by people unknown to us. Investigations are ongoing," he said.

The body was later taken to the mortuary as police launch an investigation.

Just a week ago, a woman’s dead body was found in dumped in Umoja estate near Kayole.

The torso had been stuffed in a sack with the other body parts being discovered at a different place.
