In the African culture, cases of men marrying older women were rare. The case was the other way round.
Men would marry women younger than them with five years or less.
However, that's not the case nowadays as the saying goes, love is blind and age is just a number.
These Kenyan female celebrities are married to younger men and don't have an issue with that:
1. Bahati and Diana Marua
The celebrated gospel artist Bahati is six years younger than his wife Diana whom he married recently and have a kid together.
However, in an interview, his wife seemed unconcerned about the age difference.
2. Televangelist Pst. Pius Muiru and his wife Lucy Muiru
The televangelist Pst. Pius Muiru, owner of the famous Maximum Miracle Centre church is with no doubt younger than his wife. However, the two lovebirds have kept their marriage affair so private.
3. Diamond and Zari
The famous bongo artist is the darling of many women but he chose to settle with a woman older than him with almost 10 years.
However, their marriage seems to be on the rocks due to the fact that he was dumped on the Valentines Day this year. Diamond seems to have not gotten over his wife.
