A suspected female gangster was on Wednesday shot dead by police officers in Kayole.

According to the police, the female was in company other three men gangster who were terrorising residents in broad daylight.

When police challenged the gang to surrender, they are said to have started shooting.

Two suspects are said to have escaped.

Both bodies were taken to city mortuary for postmortem and identification.
