[Photo|Kalonzo Musyoka]The government has withdrawn the remaining security detail of former Vice President and NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.The government, through the Ministry of Interior and Coordination recalled personal security detail of Kalonzo and presidential candidate Raila Odinga, few weeks ago, a move that elicited mixed reactions, and criticism, from both leaders and citizens.On Saturday, Kalonzo revealed that his remaining security detail, had as well been withdrawn, from his Tseikuru home, in Kitui County.Raila's security detail at his Bondo home was as well withdrawn."They have also withdrawn my two remaining security officers. I went at my home at Tseikuru, only to find that the two officers have been ordered to leave," Kalonzo revealed.He was speaking when he joined with the families, relatives and friends of five young men who passed on following a tragic road accident in Tseikuru last week, for an interdenominational service at Kyamalutu primary school grounds. He also joined the family of Mzee Kamami in Kyuso to bid fare well to his late wife, Penninah. Kalonzo later visited Mama Malia Academy where he presented success cards to the Form Four class and Standard Eight pupils who will be sitting for their final exams.Acting Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i defended withdrawal of the security detail of the Opposition leaders, saying, some were needed to do other duties, elsewhere, rather than moving around with the leaders in press conferences.
